Mrs. Piramal joined the group's textile division in 1984 and modernized the operations while focusing on achieving higher levels of quality and productivity. She was also instrumental in setting up the semi wholesale structure of distribution in the textile business.

Mrs. Piramal plays a leading role in envisioning and formulating the Group's strategies in real estate, textiles, auto components, entertainment and sports. The group's real estate and retail foray has been driven by her foresight, and her acute business acumen has resulted in Peninsula Land Limited being placed in the top performing real estate companies. Mrs. Piramal also envisaged the Group's Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and textured it into the Group's vision.

Mrs. Piramal has been a member of Technology and Quality Improvement Committee of IMC since its inception in 1994, and also the Chairperson of Supply Chain & Retail business (Internal Trade) Committee (04-05) She has been awarded the Qimpro Standard Award (1996) for excellence in Managing Quality Improvement program, which are dedicated to education and healthcare. Mrs. Piramal has a Bachelor of Science degree and has attended the Advance Management program at the Harvard Business School (1993).

Executive Vice - Chairman of Morarjee Textiles Limited and PMP Auto Components Pvt Ltd. Harsh Piramal is an alumnus of Kings' College, London and the London Business School where he completed his MBA in Finance and Strategy. His foray into the textile business was marked by a feasibility study done jointly with McKinsey on a textile acquisition in Europe. His past business achievements include the creation of Thundercloud Technologies, an IT start up and working as an analyst for Indocean Ventures, a venture capital fund by JP Morgan.

Mr. Gupta is an accomplished Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary and has over 3 decades of professional experience in business management particularly in all aspects of Corporate Finance such as treasury management, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, direct taxation, company law matters and operations. He has been with the Piramal Group for over 2 decades. Mr. Gupta has been on the board of several public listed companies and from time to time associated with various committees of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and member of the governing council of Indian Association Corporate CFOs and Treasurers (InACT). He has been the recipient of the prestigious CFO of the Year Award, Special Commendation for Financial Excellence (Mergers & Acquisition Category) by IMA (formerly known as EIU), New Delhi.

Head of PMP Auto Components Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Somani has been instrumental in roping in new technologies and business improvements of the group. He has over 30 years of experience and was responsible for the induction of TDK technology in the magnet business of the group. He has also steered customer focused strategies in the auto component business by developing reputed OEM customers. He has been with the Piramal Group for over 16 years. Prior to joining the Piramals, he worked with Insilco Ltd., a company 100% owned by Degussa of Germany. Mr. Somani has an engineering degree from IIT Kanpur and PGDM from IIM Ahmedabad
